

Doug and Barb Rothfus
Doug is a Vice President of Underwriting for Bitco Insurance. He has worked there for 23 years. Doug was a member of the Dallas Center Grimes School Board for 21 years and was the president of the board for several of those years. Barb is a retired educator from The Dallas Center Grimes School District. She has worked in education for over 30 years. Barb taught most of those years at the elementary level. The last six years of her career she was a curriculum facilitator in the area of Math and Science. Doug and his wife, Barb, have three children. Their youngest son, Andrew has a diagnosis of autism. They live in Grimes, Iowa.
Joe and Tracy Ollendick
Joe is the Chief Technology Officer at the International Association of Better Business Bureaus. He previously served as Treasurer and Board Member for Tech Journey, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring students in Des Moines Public Schools to explore technology and build skills for future careers. Tracy began her career in the dental field before spending 15 years in the insurance division at Principal Financial Group. She later shifted her focus to family needs, including roles with DCG Community Schools, while actively engaging in volunteer opportunities. Joe and Tracy have been longtime residents of Grimes, Iowa, with a four-year professional relocation to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They continue to cheer for the Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers as well as help their son, Will, attend and cheer for the local DCG School sporting events.


Jackie Haupts
Jackie is a receptionist for a chiropractor’s office in West Des Moines part-time and is a stay home mother the rest of the time. Jackie, and her husband Bryce, have two children. Their son, Isaac has a diagnosis of Autism. They live in Grimes, Iowa.
Stan and Cindy Manning
Stan retired in 2017 from Polk County Conservation after 34 years of service. He also ran his own lawn care business for over 30 years. He currently drives a school bus for the DC-G School District. Cindy retired from the Des Moines Pubic School District after 25 years as an elementary teacher. Prior to that, she worked at two law firms in Des Moines for 14 years. She currently focuses much of her time on her family and volunteers at her church. Cindy and Stan live in Grimes, Iowa. They have 2 daughters, Emily and Erica. Emily has a diagnosis of Epilepsy and cognitive delays due to seizures at an early age.



Emily Naderman
Emily has worked for HOPE Agency for 20 years, a non-profit that supports individuals with special needs and helps them live independent lives through SCL services, job development, and job coaching. She live in Grimes with her husband Brian, 4 children, and 2 dogs! She is passionate about working with the community to integrate those with special needs and help them live productive lives!
Jenny Rants
Jenny has been an educator in Iowa for 31 years, all in special education. She taught for 4 years in the Perry Community School District and the last 27 years in the Dallas Center-Grimes School District. She has her Masters in special education from Drake University. Jenny and her husband Doug have two daughters, Sydney and Jillian. Sydney is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist in the Des Moines area and Jillian is working on her Masters in Clinic Mental Health and Counseling at University of Northern Iowa.
